Came across the Ranger School diary when searching. My son is there as I write. I can only hope that his service will be the honor to our country that Tom's was. Keeping this site going is an inspiration not just a memorial.

I came across Tom's journal while looking up "Sosh Run" on Google. I loved his entries, so I read his journal from start to finish. I was extremely saddened to find when searching for Thomas Martin LT that he had died on his Iraq deployment. His journals let me see just a little bit of this man a year and a half after his ultimate sacrifice. Thank you, Tom.
Condolences to his friends and family.

came across tom's website while getting caught up on the wounded warrior project website and want to express my condolences for your loss. i'm taking tom's advice from one of the posts and am going to make an effort to say hello to the countless people i see on a daily basis and never say hello to. such a simple thing and i'm going to do it.
god bless tom, god bless america.
sincerely,
james
