I stumbled upon this website when I google imaged West Point, a place I have never been and always wanted to go. I read through all the college journals because I thought it was such a neat experience to go to such a honorable school and I really came to admire Tom's character, bravery, humor, and his zest for life. Then, as I went further, I learned that Tom paid the ultimate sacrifice to his country. God bless Tom Martin. My prayers go out to his family, friends and fiancé.

Thinking about you today.... there was a small Army / Air Force debate at the lake this weekend, and I immediately thought of you and Kenny. Miss you and thank you for your sacrifice, your family's and Erika's. Saying a special prayer for them today as well.... but I know you are watching over them, too.

I found your website by accident and was reading avidly about all your time at West Point. Then I found the page that says you are KIA. Who could have known that such an enthusiastic and happy person could disappear so quickly. You sounded like a great guy and my heart goes out to your family. Thanks for your service.

I stumbled across your site when I was looking for pictures of the SOSH run at WP. My little bro is a cadet there currently and he has his SOSH run tomorrow. My mother was asking questions about what this run is for, so I googled it for her and found your pictures. Pretty awesome. Thanks for posting your stuff on the web, hope Ranger school treated you well!

I stumbled upon this website while looking for a day-by-day account of Ranger School to show to my girlfriend. I enjoyed reading all the entries as I am a 3-timer of Mountains Phase as well.

I found this page while looking for information on Ranger School. The entries were incredible, and I am at a loss for words upon learning of his passing. Through his journal entries he has had an impact on my life. Thank You.

I just stumbled upon this site searching for knots done in Ranger school. The journal brought back many memories. I laughed about the recycles because I was one. Then I read further and discovered the tragic loss. But I want to share with those who loved him that his spirit came through in his writings and my spirit is refreshed and renewed. I hope to meet someday some of those who knew him and loved him because I know he made them better people.
